Nice Airport puts xray machines on hold

Officials at Nice Airport have decided to suspend the use of sophisticated xray machines that are able to "See through" people's clothes.

The EU commission has expressed reservations with regard to these high tech machines.

Toulouse Airport

It was a bright and sunny day when I woke up yesterday so I decided to head off to Toulouse Airport to refresh my memory of how it's all laid out etc.

It was a very easy journey and well worth while. Toulouse airport is a smart, modern airport with enough facilities to keep you busy but not so big as to be overwhelming.

Yesterday Ryanair opened a new base at Edinburgh airport with two new Boeing 737-800 aircraft, worth $140m.

This new base will serve twenty-three routes to/from Edinburgh including;

• Flights from Edinburgh to Grenoble Lyon
• Flights from Edinburgh to Marseille
